Sterling silver should be polished frequently to preserve its bright luster.

Each hand-finished piece of Pandora jewelry is crafted from high-quality materials, including sterling silver (92.5% pure silver), Galena Rose (a 14k rose gold-plated unique metal blend), and Galena Shine (18k gold-plated sterling silver). Galena jewelry is lead and nickel free. Our jewelry is hypoallergenic.

• POLISH frequently with a soft polishing cloth to maintain the shine. A polishing cloth won’t remove scratches, so it’s important that you protect your jewelry. You can buy polishing cloths and care kits from your local Pandora store.

• STORE jewelry separately in a tarnish-resistant jewelry box or jewelry pouch and keep it away from abrasive surfaces.

• HANDLE jewelry with love and care.

• REMOVE jewelry prior to swimming, bathing and doing sports or other physical activity.

• LIMIT CONTACT with make-up, creams, perfume and lotions.

Some metals may react with your skin to produce a discoloration and copper is especially well known for causing this reaction. As Pandora Rose™ is rich in copper content, some people may experience a green discoloration of their skin caused by a chemical reaction between acids in their skin and the metal of the jewelry piece or a reaction between the metal and another substance on the hand, such as a lotion. The green color is not harmful in itself and can easily be removed with water and soap.
